 ROKAN HILIR

     Rokan Hilir is a district in Riau Province, Indonesia. The capital is located in Bagansiapiapi, the largest and historic city, and was once known as the largest fish producer in Indonesia. This district was previously included in Bengkalis Regency.

     Rokan hilir  is located between the Malacca Strait (north), Rokan Hulu Regency and Bengkalis Regency (south), North Sumatra Province (west) and Dumai City (east side). The condition of the Rokan Hilir Regency area consists of several rivers. The Rokan River is the largest river which is 350 km from its mouth in Rokan Hilir to the Upper Rokan Hulu. As the largest river, the Rokan River plays an important role as population traffic and a source of community economy. 

     Most of the Rokan Hilir Regency area consists of lowlands and swamps, especially along the Rokan River to its mouth. This region has very fertile land and is the leading rice paddy field in Riau Province.

     In addition, another interesting thing in the Rokan Hilir is the bakar tongkang event which is held once a year.

     In addition, the Rokan Hilir also has tourist attractions that are still hidden or not many people know. The place is a Pulau Jemur.

     I am very happy to live here. In the Rokan Hilir there are several districts and villages whose local culture is still maintained today. Here, customs and culture are still very high. Rokan Hilir is a very good place, this place is not inferior to other districts. Therefore, let's visit the downstream rokan and have an exciting experience here. Rokan Hilir is the most comfortable and most beautiful place.
